Freebo is a cool dude. I caught up with him in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina at the South East Regional Folk Alliance. You might know Freebo as the bassplayer for Bonnie Raitt, but he is also a tuba player, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer. He has recorded and performed with Ringo Starr, Aaron Neville, Dr. John, and Crosby, Stills & Nash, just to name few.
